The German brand Fendt stands for progress by tradition. The Bavarian company has been producing vehicles for agriculture since 1930. With success. To this day, the company ensures the supply of the world’s population through powerful harvesters and tractors. We at Nostalgic-Art love brands with tradition. Fendt for progress by tradition
In over 80 years of company history, Fendt has revolutionized agriculture again and again. Under the guidance of their father Johann Georg Fendt, the brothers Hermann and Xaver designed the first Fendt tractor named “Dieselross”. In 1930, the tractor was launched at the same time as the company was founded. With 6hp, farmers could now pull mowers and mounted plows across their fields. You can see the tractor on our 20 x 30 cm metal sign in portrait format. Other legendary Fendt models followed. Due to the brothers’ drive for innovation, business boomed after the war. In 1950, the Allgäu-based company produced its 10,000th tractor and had nearly 600 employees. The F25A tractor was the first four-wheel drive tractor to tackle the large tractor market. By the end of the 1950s, the medium-sized company was already exporting to 30 countries.
The success story does not stop there. In 1980, Fendt set new standards for comfort and technology in agriculture with the 300 Farmer series. Features such as 40 kilometers per hour, a brake on each wheel, turbomatics and a rubber-mounted comfort cab were an absolute novelty. But soon became standard. Every year, Fendt presents innovations at Agritechnica, one of the largest agricultural trade fairs. The fact is, whoever has a Fendt on the farm can be proud of it. Our signs with the slogans “Fendt Parking Only” or “Fendt Service” prove their love for agriculture and the machines associated with it.
